Annual Events
Ross Valley Nursery School is a tight-knit community of educators, families, and local businesses with shared values. We hold several events throughout the year to fundraise and build lasting relationships. Here is a sample of the types of activities you will enjoy if you become a part of the RVNS family:
Parent Education Events include school-sponsored activities like CPR training and expert speakers offering insights on early childhood development and parenting during these challenging times. Parents often have the opportunity to contribute topics to help shape and customize this special programming.
Family Picnics The fall picnic is our first chance to get whole families together for a fun, outdoor activity to celebrate the start of a new school year, a new season, and the anticipation of the coming year’s memorable moments. We gather again in the Spring to reflect on the year.
Holiday Event is either a social or shopping event, sometimes involving separate events for each class. It often entails a fundraiser that benefits both Ross Valley Nursery School as well as a local business.
Spring Auction is our biggest event of the year and our primary fundraiser. Parents and teachers come together for a special evening focusing on benefitting student development and enrichment. The support of our local businesses that have long-time connections with our school is an integral part of this event’s success.
Class Events Volunteer parent coordinators host individual class events that might include holiday parties for the children, parent’s night out, and recurring parent coffee dates, ensuring a great time for all!
Community Outreach We hold several community outreach events throughout the year. More information can be found on our Giving Back page.
