Giving Back to the Community
Believing that giving back is a critical component of learning and creating good world citizens, Ross Valley Nursery School has long supported its neighbors in Marin and beyond by donating as a community to charities and nonprofit organizations.
Each year, parents, with the approval of the Board, organize several charity drives to help meet the most immediate needs in the county and to support organizations doing critical humanitarian work.
From special holiday food items for the Marin Community Food Bank to books for Marin Head Start, we strive to share resources with those that are struggling, disenfranchised, or in need of a helping hand. We view our relationships with these programs as a valuable teaching tool for our children and are grateful for the generosity of our families throughout the year.
